JDPP joins the Colt Park Foundation in celebrating Children’s Day exploring Why Trees Matter!” in a beautiful tree-filled area of Colt Park. JDPP teaching artist Suzi Jensen will lead a Storywalk, created by Hartford Public Library, of Corinna Luken’s book The Tree in Me, followed by three simultaneous arts workshops about trees culminating in a small sharing among thegroups. Don’t miss it!

11:00am-11:30am Storywalk of The Tree in Me
11:30am-12:30pm Workshops in movement, song and art
12:30pm-1:00pm Sharing of work among groups
The workshops will be in the beautiful tree filled area of Colt Park for Children’s Day on Sunday June 11 with a rain date of June 25.
