As part of the Prosser Grand Opening events, Bloomfield Public Library is thrilled to present the Justice Dance Performance Project’s Book Dances. Against a backdrop of increasing challenges to intellectual freedom, Book Dances celebrates the power of books to widen vision, open possibility, and create connection. Members of JDPP’s professional Ensemble will perform selected solos and a duet from the 2025 work, ‘Book Dances’, that examines the joys of reading and the fragility of the right to read freely. As an interactive finale, audience members will be invited to join in community and learn JDPP’s pop-up community dance, as an expression of hope and healing.
This performance if free and open to the public, registration is required. Please click here.
